Regardless of whether they are your own standard employment agreements or employment certificates for the relevant collective agreement area for hourly employees, employment agreements signed digitally are legally binding and much more secure as the signer is identified with a unique NemID signature.

It is of course also a much faster way to get standard employment agreements signed, even if there are employment agreements that are regulated by a collective agreement in the relevant area or profession. Digital signature is especially effective if there is geographical distance, time zones, or if there are many employees who need to be hired within a short time, or where it is not immediately possible to meet before a given deadline.
